We are a recruitment agency searching for an experienced Senior Specialist in Maintenance & Energy Efficiency on behalf of a respected international client. The position focuses on driving energy efficiency, improving maintenance processes, and ensuring optimal operational performance across multiple markets. As the Senior Maintenance and Energy Efficiency Manager, you will be responsible for driving the operational effectiveness of our client's retail filling stations. You will oversee all aspects of maintenance and energy management, using a data-driven approach to improve performance, cut costs, and ensure compliance. The role also involves managing global supplier relationships, monitoring performance, and implementing cutting-edge technologies. Main Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Maintenance Leadership: ○ Shape and implement long-term maintenance programs tailored to optimize the operation of retail filling stations across the CEE region and Austria. ○ Regularly review and adjust strategies to reflect evolving industry standards and to support business growth. ○ Develop preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment. 2. Energy Efficiency & Sustainability Focus: ○ Spearhead energy-saving programs aimed at minimizing the environmental impact and operational costs of facilities. ○ Identify and deploy energy-efficient technologies to maximize usage and lower energy consumption across all retail outlets. ○ Continuously evaluate the energy landscape, proposing innovative methods to increase energy sustainability and reduce waste. 3. Technology & Asset Management Integration: ○ Lead the deployment of IT systems for asset tracking, ensuring seamless integration with the company’s operational needs. ○ Ensure that all tools and platforms used for asset management are state-of-the-art and support the company’s competitive position in the market. ○ Collaborate with technical and IT teams to regularly upgrade system functionalities to improve reliability and performance. 4. Global Procurement and Vendor Relationships: ○ Manage the full cycle of international procurement processes, from tendering to selecting the best service providers for maintenance and energy services. ○ Build long-term relationships with global vendors to ensure the highest quality and cost-effective service delivery. ○ Monitor supplier performance and ensure adherence to contracts and agreed service levels. 5. Long-Term Asset Value Planning: ○ Develop strategies focused on the total lifecycle of assets, utilizing a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) model to manage both short-term costs and long-term benefits. ○ Implement initiatives to enhance the durability and performance of assets, reducing operational costs over time. ○ Regularly review investment performance to ensure maximum ROI. 6. Compliance and Risk Management: ○ Guarantee full compliance with international and local regulations, with a strong emphasis on Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) standards. ○ Lead efforts in safety audits, risk assessments, and the development of robust safety procedures, ensuring that all activities meet or exceed legal and environmental requirements. ○ Stay ahead of regulatory changes and adjust operations accordingly to ensure continuous compliance. 7. Operational Performance & Reporting: ○ Use data analytics to monitor the effectiveness of maintenance strategies and energy initiatives, providing insights that drive improvements. ○ Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports to senior management, highlighting key trends, risks, and performance metrics. ○ Lead initiatives to leverage data for predictive maintenance and real-time energy monitoring.
Požiadavky na zamestnanca
Ideal Candidate Profile: • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. • Experience: Minimum 9 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in a senior role focusing on energy efficiency and maintenance in an international environment. • Languages: Proficiency in Slovak (C2) and English (C1), both written and spoken. • Technical Expertise: Strong background in fuel systems, facility maintenance, and energy-saving technologies for retail environments. • Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of TCO, investment controlling, and essential financial KPIs such as NPV, ROI, and payback periods. • Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in retail, oil, or energy sectors is advantageous. • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills, with a strong ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. • Mindset: Strong self-motivation and an innovative, solution-driven approach to problem-solving.
