The ideal candidate will be responsible for resolving billing issues, reconciling accounts, and achieving monthly collection targets in collaboration with local sales and finance management.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Follow up with customers via emails and phone calls to ensure timely collection of payments for the assigned portfolio.
- Research, analyze, and resolve customer inquiries and payment blockers.
- Reconcile AR balances, manage, and resolve financial discrepancies between our and customers' accounts.
- Build trust with customers and peers, fostering long-lasting relationships.
- Participate in cross-functional and process improvement projects.
- Create and implement standard operating procedures and process workflows. Analyze, recommend, and implement process improvements.
- Collaborate with the Global Finance Operations team, stakeholders, and internal business partners in other world regions.
- Provide timely reports via weekly metrics and status updates on customers' accounts and projects.
- Participate in operational excellence activities.
- Continually seek ways to improve the customer experience.
A Day in the Life:
- Prepare daily aging reports.
- Strategize the portfolio.
- Address root causes and collect payments.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for better resolutions.
- Provide visibility to the leadership.
Employee requirements
Required Qualifications:
– Fluent in French and English.
– Previous experience in Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Customer Care, or other customer-facing roles.
– Extensive knowledge of Finance and Accounting.
– Direct and concise communication skills.
– Strong record of managing customer disputes.
– High level of punctuality and attention to detail.
– Ability to stay focused while performing repetitive tasks for an extended period.
– Ability to take initiative, meet tight deadlines, and prioritize workload.
– Proficient in Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Studies, or related fields.
– Familiarity with SQL and Business Intelligence tools.
– Continuous Improvement qualification.
– Additional European language.
Benefits of work
Base pay for this position starts from EUR 1,700+ gross per month, and salary depends on skills and requirements.
