We are seeking a Senior VAT Compliance Analyst for our client to join its International Indirect Tax Compliance team. This role focuses on EMEA VAT compliance, with primary responsibility for France, Italy, Spain, and Sweden.
You will own end-to-end VAT compliance activities, support audits and business growth, and play a key role in improving and automating VAT processes in a fast-paced, international environment.

Job offer information
- Prepare, review, and submit VAT returns and related filings for FR, IT, ES, and SE
- Prepare Intrastat and ECSL returns where required
- Support VAT registrations across multiple jurisdictions
- Handle VAT compliance queries from Amazon businesses across EMEA
- Prepare and review VAT account reconciliations and resolve outstanding items
- Support internal and external audits, including data analysis
- Work cross-functionally with Accounting, Controllership, Tax, and Tech teams
- Identify process improvements and contribute to automation initiatives
- Support onboarding of new entities into VAT compliance processes
Employee requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years’ experience in VAT compliance or VAT advisory
- Strong understanding of EMEA VAT principles
- Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and meet tight deadlines
