Business Analyst

Key job responsibilities

• Support indirect tax teams with data requests, analysis, and ad-hoc reporting.
• Build and improve automation solutions to reduce manual processes.
• Manage and coordinate code deployments and data updates.
• Collaborate with technology partners to troubleshoot issues in data pipelines and support system upgrades or migrations.
• Conduct detailed data research and analysis of large financial datasets to identify and resolve data quality issues.
• Create, maintain, and enhance QuickSight dashboards and other reporting tools.
• Drive process improvements and data optimization initiatives across global operations.

Basic qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or related technical field.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in analytics, financial systems, data engineering or business intelligence.
• Solid experience using SQL, ETL and databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets.
• Familiar with indirect tax concepts and accounting processes.
• Experience with data visualization tools, such as QuickSight.

Preferred qualifications

• Knowledge in other programming languages, like Python will be appreciated.
• Familiarity with solutions such as AWS, EC2, S3, Redshift.
• Experience gathering business requirements, using industry standard business intelligence tool(s) to extract data, formulate metrics and build reports.
• Experience communicating analytical outcomes to both business and technical teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
